I opened the installer yesterday evening before going out for drinks with friends thinking it will just chug away until the morning, but no! the error messages began, and now it wants to start from 0% and says cannot download etc. I've spent the whole f**ing morning trying to get this pos installer to work! The annoying thing is the first time I tried to install (Thursday daytime) I got home from work and it was on about 50% downloaded but I wanted to play other stuff (not a super fast connection here) so as I have done on all other installers, I just closed it without thinking anything of it! This worked for me, I was finally able to log in after 1.5 days of failed attempts. The first time it crashed for me the download started all over from 0%, but the next 3 times it continued from where it crashed. Just go to the task manager, kill agent.exe again, delete \ProgramData\ again, and restart launcher. ![]() Sometimes the launcher will crash while you are updating the files.If it's not moving, then something else is causing the problem for you. The progress bar might stay at 10% for a while, so wait at least a few minutes. This might not be necesseary, but do it anyway. I actually deleted all networks from there. Under Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings delete all old networks. You can click on the little blue (more) link at your battle net account to get your local client like enGB. If you can't delete it you have to open the Task Manager and kill the Agent.exe application. Delete C:\ProgramData\ folder if it still exists.Disable firewall and remove router if possible just to make sure those are not the ones causing the problem.Original thread - TL DR noob friendly version: It also works for the "Updating files." progress bar error.
